Our company was founded because we were unsatisfied with pant options by mall brands. We wanted something comfortable and practical, while looking good at the same time. And we knew we weren’t the only ones - so we set out to design quality khakis made exclusively in Canada.
A high rise was important to us from the very beginning. Not only do we feel that proportions look better when the pants sit at the natural waist, we also feel that it has a functional purpose. With most of us spending a significant portion of our day sitting down, a higher rise provides more comfort without the need for stretch materials.
Another essential on our mission to create the perfect pant was 100% natural cotton. Its excellent breathability, ability to age gracefully while being easy to care for and biodegradable make it the best choice for everyday wear. We love these natural characteristics enough that we decided against adding stretch or wrinkle-resistant finishes (using synthetic fabrics) and continue to avoid all unnecessary use of chemicals and plastics.
